This is a contest to win a trip to the NYC premiere of the new LCD Soundsystem documentary SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS on July 18th. It also includes tickets to the afterparty, a bunch of vinyls and other merch, and most importantly you get to MEET JAMES MURPHY.

Who turned you on to LCD Soundsystem? Were you at the Madison Square Garden show, and did you have to do anything crazy to get tickets? These questions are just a starting point—we want to know what makes you a fan.

I got really excited about this until I saw that it’s open to US residents only but I thought I’d share it for any of you who are from the States because holy christ this would be amazing. I thought I might have a fighting chance considering LCD has been the main soundtrack to pretty much my entire university experience but alas, I am a Canadian.
